There is a mentholated top note to the more deeply pitched, and again super-fresh, aromas of dark berries, spice, earth and sauvage wisps. There is excellent intensity to the broad-shouldered and mineral-driven flavors that also possess a lovely texture on the sneaky long, powerful and youthfully austere finale. This is also quite promising and a wine that should improve and develop over most of the next 20 years.
